317 looks to the future with our new Executive Director
John is a long-time music enthusiast and has been an active participant at 317 since the doors opened in 2004, taking weekly mandolin lessons and serving as Board Chair of 317's Board of Director. John and his wife Holly are the founders of the annual HenryFest summer acoustic music festival which celebrated it's fifth anniversary this past summer at North Yarmouth's Sky Line Farm.
Prior to accepting the position of Executive Director at 317 Main Street, John has worked as an environmental sustainability consultant for over 25 years. His most recent affiliation was with Woodard & Curran, where he held the positions of Service Line Leader for Sustainability Services and Group Manager for the Environmental Management Consulting Group. Prior to joining Woodard & Curran in 2005, John spent over 16 years working for Mactec Engineering & Consulting as a Team Leader and Project Manager, and was responsible for developing and delivering environmental management and sustainability consulting services to multinational corporations throughout North America, Central America, and Europe.
John and Holly live in North Yarmouth. They have two daughters, Megan who is working for a Marketing Agency in San Francisco and Eliza who is a freshman at St. Lawrence University in Canton, New York.
John is very excited about expanding his participation in and connection to the 317 Main Street family. He is looking forward to contributing to the future programming, development, and growth of the Community Music Center.
